Fri, 22nd Apr, 2005 : Temporary CO-OP store installed in less than 4 weeks!The CO-OP in Lowdam were undergoing refurbishment work on their main property which meant that the store would be unaccessible unless alternative arrangements were made.PBL came to the rescue and installed an existing building unit which was modified on-site to fit the CO-OP's own requirements. The building was made up of a 47'x26' unit linked to a 20'x9' unit creating a fully functional store. Local residents were heard to say that they greatly appreciated the store. In fact they even commented that the refurbishment work would have a lot to live up to after their experience shopping in the PBL temporary building. High praise indeed when you consider that the whole project was completed in less than 4 weeks! |
